The Institution of Engineers(India) will celebrate the 57th Engineers’Day on September 15, commemorating the 163rd Birthday of Bharat Ratna Sir. Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya . This day not only honors his pioneering spirit but also serve as a tribute to Engineers worldwide, Whose innovations and dedication shape our modern world. This year’s theme, “Driving Sustainability with Engineering Solutions Embracing the Latest AI-driven Technologies” underscores the pivotal role of Engineering in solving global challenges.
The Institution of Engineers(India), Mysore Local Centre has the great tradition of organizing Engineers’ Day coinciding with Birthday Celebrations of Bharath Ratna Dr.Sir.M.Visvesvaraya in the month of September befitting the great statesman Engineer of the nation. Accordingly this year 57th Engineers’Day Celebrations coinciding 163rd Birthday Celebration of Sir.M.Visvesvaraya will be held on 15th September 2024.
To commemorate this programme various other activities like Sports Events, Cultural Programme, Seminar on His Highness Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar ,Technical Seminar on the theme are proposed on 1st September, 8th September, 9th September and 12th September 2024 respectively.
